1. Fill 2/3 of mould with water. Pour water into a clean container.
2. Pour the plaster slowly into the water without stirring (estimated measurement: 100ml of water : 130gm of plaster)
3. As plaster begins to float on the surface, stir the mixture lightly with a stick.
4. Ensure that the mix is not runny, clumpy or too thick (estimated texture: condensed milk-like). If it is too thick or clumpy, add a little bit of water while stirring.
5. Gently pour the plaster mix into the mould.
6. Leave to set for 15-30 minutes, depending on the thickness of the mould.
7. Once it has set, demould the object.
8. Leave it to dry for a day or two on a sheet of newspaper to soak excess water.
9. Colour the object with paint.
10. Leave it to dry and varnish with clear lacquer spray.
(To make fridge magnets, glue down the magnet with PVA / UHU glue at the back of the object after varnishing)
